Shakeology Book One – Wild Grasses

We are in the last leg of our sneak peek journey into Shakeology Book One, we now follow Darin Olien, the “Shakeology Ingredient Hunter“, as he makes one of his easier trips to a place that doesn’t cause jet lag and where he doesn’t need a translator, Canada.

Darin Olien travels to Canada to find Wild Grasses

“Wild grasses?!”, you may ask.  Yes, the four primary Wild Grasses included in Shakeology, which are added as juice powder (juice powder having dramatically better nutrient quality and strength), are Wheatgrass, Barley Grass, Oat Grass and Kamut.

  • Wheatgrass juice powder is high in chlorophyll, calcium, magnesium and potassium.  Chlorophyll (not found in many ingredients) may help improve immune health and support detox in the body.
  • Barley Grass juice powder has been used for centuries to help problems with skin, liver, blood and digestive tract.  It also has 18 amino acids (including all eight essentials).
  • Oat Grass juice powder has a calming effect on the nerves, helps promote healthy sleep and can help relieve water retention.
  • Kamut juice powder is high in selenium (crucial for cell activity in your body), as well as protein and other essentials for high energy: zinc, thimamin, phosphorous, magnesium, copper, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, vitamin E and complex carbos.
