Even if you are trying to lose fat and gain muscle you have to take a rest day, right?

Morning: Lose Fat, Gain Muscle and Feel Great

I slept really well last night and woke up refreshed. I looked forward to today because it was a rest day! I’m pushing hard 5 days a week. So the 2 rest days per week are great. I did feel a little hungry this morning but it wasn’t too bad.

Afternoon: Lose Fat, Gain Muscle and Feel Great

Around 12:30pm I thoroughly enjoyed a peanut butter Chocolate Shakeology shake. Everything about the shake is so good and I don’t think it’s because I’m not eating too much food. It REALLY is wonderful!

Evening: Lose Fat, Gain Muscle and Feel Great

Hours later we were still enjoying ourselves but it was time for me to eat! Fortunately, I had brought the leftover brown rice and black beans I made yesterday. So I warmed it up and ate it quickly. I needed to get out of the kitchen! Shortly after eating my leftovers we headed home.

My wife made an awesome dinner, tilapia, green beans, brown rice, corn and there were leftovers from yesterday. Since my second meal of the day is supposed to be smaller, I opted for another peanut butter Chocolate Shakeology shake and set aside some of the yumminess for later.

Later in the evening, I warmed up the tilapia, green beans and brown rice and scarfed it down. Oh man, that was good!

I’m feeling really good about the first week of my Beast Up Experiment to Lose Fat, Gain Muscle and Feel Great! I can definitely work with this workout and nutrition program.

The only thing I’m worried about is our mini-vacation coming up in a few days!
