Beast Up Experiment – Lose Fat, Gain Muscle and Feel Great!

If you’re reading this it’s probably because you are a huge CoachWoot fan OR you just want to lose fat, gain muscle and feel great all at once! Let’s assume it’s the latter!

I’m always scouring for resources, reading and researching to find the best ways to GET RESULTS! I’ve recently stumbled upon some very interesting material and I want to try it to see if it works. And if it does, I’ll be sure to give you exact details on what to do!

In the meantime, let’s review some of the basics of the Beast Up Experiment!

Beast Up Experiment – Exercise

The main program for this experiment is BODY BEAST but with slight changes. I’m skipping the leg days! What, skip the leg days?! Yep, skipping them which gives me an extra rest day each week. But, I’m not skipping legs completely. Instead, I’m adding some INSANITY MAX Interval Training and some Steady State Cardio to each training day. (Specifically, the 20 minute INSANITY FAST AND FURIOUS workout and 10 minutes on a Precor Elliptical.) By the way, I’m working out in the evening.

Beast Up Experiment – Diet

I’m experimenting with my eating schedule too! I’m breaking all the rules! First, I’m fasting for approximately 14 hours a day which means I am skipping breakfast. Second, I’m only eating 3 meals a day. I told you I’m breaking all the rules. I’ll be eating approximately 25% of my calories around noon, another 25% 3-4 hours later and then 50% of my calories either post-workout or a couple of hours before bed. Each day I’m in a caloric deficit but on the training days I’m having the P90X Results & Recovery drink which is a little boost of calories. Of course, Chocolate Shakeology shakes are going to be a big part of this experiment!

Beast Up Experiment – The Results

In this specific experiment, I’m relying heavily on BODY BEAST workouts and Shakeology shakes. Even though this can be done with different strength training workouts and a different approach to nutrition, I wanted to stick to two things that I KNOW WORK!

In 90 days, I’ll know if any of this experiment will GET RESULTS! STAY TUNED…
