Ultimate Reset – THE JOURNEY – Day 3

Ultimate ResetSo far, so good! Two days down of the Ultimate Reset. It is refreshing to be able to be told exactly what to do and when to do it. (Since usually, I’m the one doing all the “telling”!) There isn’t much thinking involved, just follow the guidelines. I really like the daily support emails that tell you exactly what to do for the day! If you haven’t signed up for the Ultimate Reset daily emails, DO SO, they make it easy! Alright, on to Day 3 of the Ultimate Reset!

Ultimate Reset – THE JOURNEY – Day 3

I had to get up a little earlier today because I have a chiropractor appointment. So, a little off schedule with the third day of the Ultimate Reset. I got up and first tackled the Ultimate Reset supplements. Got my big glass of distilled water, added Mineralize, swallowed the two Optimize capsules and then took the Oxygenize. Then jumped in the shower and ran to the appointment. I NEEDED that adjustment! My neck has been out for days and I just couldn’t get it! Usually, I would take some ibuprofen for the swelling and pain, but, since I’m on the Ultimate Reset I’ll just have to deal with it.

Ultimate ResetAnyway, got home and it was about 90 minutes since I had the Ultimate Reset supplements and it is supposed to be 30. So, I was hungry! Today’s breakfast was the same as the first day. Eggs, toast and the dreaded kale! As like the first day, cooked it up and then ate the kale first to get it over with! I really hope this is an acquired taste since it seems it is on the menu EVERY DAY! I then I ate the eggs followed by the Ezekiel 4:9 toast while Riley was telling me the difference between Super Hero Squad and the new Marvel Alliance game. He LOVES Marvel heroes! (Much more love than I have for kale!)

I want to RESET my body with the Ultimate Reset!

A couple of hours later and it is time for more distilled water with Mineralize, the two Optimize capsules and the Oxygenize. 30 minutes later, time for the Ultimate Reset lunch! On the menu for today was a lentil and lime salad and a microgreen salad. OK, so I wasn’t totally prepared the the lentil and lime salad. I THOUGHT I had bought lentils BUT I actually bought Amy’s Organic Lentil Soup! Close enough, I checked the ingredients and it is pretty good. So, instead of the lentil and lime salad, I had lentil soup with a little cracked pepper, cumin and sea salt. Not as good as the sausage and lentil soup at Carrabba’s, but it will do! (Man do I LOVE that Carrabba’s soup!)

Made the microgreen salad and shared it with my youngest. I have no idea why, but she LOVES vinegar dressing and salad. That is just WEIRD! Anyway, we ate most of it, left some over because I was just plain FULL!

Again, I skipped the optional Ultimate Reset snack. Just went with the distilled water and Alkalinize. I’ve heard that the taste gets better, but NOT YET!

So looking forward to dinner has me a little worried. I’m not much into the California roll meal. But, I did make my tempeh, added rice, carrot and avocado. The inside of the Nori roll was pretty good BUT I am not a fan of the Nori (seaweed). I ate as much as I could of the Nori. I did leave some on the plate, just wasn’t worth eating to me. I also missed out on the Miso soup. We looked at looked for miso paste at different grocery stores but couldn’t find it. That was a bummer.

The bad news for me is that tomorrow I am supposed to have that Nori roll with tempeh for lunch. Aaaaaahhhhhhh! I am NOT going to pack that for lunch tomorrow. I’m thinking either the leftover lentil soup and some salad OR make a black beans and rice lunch. I was really diggin’ the Ultimate Reset black beans and rice meal. On the other hand, the lentil soup is travels easily. I’ll wait until tomorrow to decide.

I’m also looking forward to tomorrow’s Ultimate Reset breakfast. Fruit, fruit, fruit. Our fridge is full of it and I haven’t been able to eat much of it yet. So I’m excited for breakfast tomorrow!

In summary of Ultimate Reset Day 3, I only really enjoyed breakfast (besides the kale). Seemed to be a rough day for me with the meals. I think Day 4’s meals will be better, at least, once I swap out the Nori roll lunch! Come on Day 4 of the Ultimate Reset!
