Ultimate Reset – THE JOURNEY – Day 5

Ultimate ResetDay 5 of the Ultimate Reset. Yesterday I repeated over and over that PREPARATION IS KEY to success, especially with the Ultimate Reset. Today was much better, why? Because I prepared.  I’m feeling pretty comfortable with the Ultimate Reset regimen of supplements and finding most of the healthy meals tasty and satisfying. Let’s take a look at Day 5 of the Ultimate Reset!

Ultimate Reset – THE JOURNEY – Day 5

Another day to the office.  So that means getting up earlier than usual.  Well, that was the plan anyway.  I was tired this morning.  I just did not get enough sleep.  The alarm went off and I stayed in bed for another 20 minutes having the usual internal conversation of “Get up!” and “Just a few more minutes.”  Not a great start to Day 5 of the Ultimate Reset.

I did finally get up and headed to the kitchen.  Poured that tall glass of distilled water, added the Mineralize and Oxygenize and drank it quickly after taking the two Optimize capsules.  As I said, I’m getting used to the regimen of the Ultimate Reset.

I was looking forward to Day 5’s breakfast.  OATMEAL!  I like oatmeal, it’s always been a favorite of mine.  On the down side, I ran out of blueberries!  So, I cut up some strawberries, added some walnuts, just a touch of Grade A maple syrup and voila!, yumminess!  I know, I know, I should have used Grade B, but I didn’t have any.  (But I did get some on the way home from the office today!)  It was such a great breakfast.

While I was shoveling down the oatmeal, I started to boil quinoa for the lunch that I needed to pack.  I also cut up some vegetables and threw them in a baggie.  Red bell pepper and carrots, I forgot the green beans! Two out of three ain’t bad though, right?  I also filled TWO Shakeology shaker cups with distilled water…prepare, prepare, prepare for the Ultimate Reset!

Right before lunch time, I added Mineralize and Oxygenize to the shaker cup and drank it along with two capsules of Optimize.  No comments from the guys in the room today.

Now this is where the hard part of the day comes!

Ultimate ResetWe needed to grab some lunch for the conference, so, everyone voted for Chipotle.  Aaaaahhhhhhh, my FAVORITE restaurant.  By the way, one of the healthiest “fast food” joints.  My #1 choice when I am traveling or am in a pinch.  Walking in the door of Chipotle, the awesome smell of all the wonderful ingredients they have hit me.  Oh man, I was hungry and I wanted my burrito bol!  They guys commented that it must be difficult for me since it’s my favorite restaurant.  Well, it was difficult but I survived.  (I also missed an awesome steak dinner with them the night before!  Bone-in filet mignon is NOT on the Ultimate Reset meal plan!)

They had their burritos and we headed back to the office, I pulled out the quinoa, added a little pico de gallo from Chipotle (yummy) and pulled out the vegetables and HUMMUS!  Another one of my favorites.  So, the Chipotle withdrawal went away quickly.  The hummus was delicious!  There are some great meals with the Ultimate Reset!

The meeting ended, the rest of the guys went to the airport and now it was time for Alkalinize.  You know what?  It wasn’t that bad today.  Maybe I am getting used to it.  I just mixed it with the other shaker cup of distilled water.

When I got home, we had miso soup and vegetables on the Ultimate Reset menu.  I still cannot find miso paste, so I decided to go for one of my favorite meals from the Ultimate Reset, black beans and rice.  Before I could eat though, I drank my distilled water along with Mineralize and Oxygenize, and of course, took the two capsules of Optimize.

At first, I threw the leftover black beans and rice on a corn tortilla, but, corn tortillas aren’t really my thing (and it was 80 calories).  I decided to get rid of the corn tortilla, added the little bit that was left over the black beans and rice, put on the guacamole and added extra salsa.  Hey, I missed out on Chipotle OK!

Oh boy, did that meal hit the spot!  My own little burrito bol, Ultimate Reset style!

Overall, I think Day 5 of the Ultimate Reset went very well.  Yes, there were difficulties and temptations, but I OVERCAME them and stayed on track.  I’m actually pretty proud of myself considering that Chipotle is my FAVORITE food! Uh oh, the weekend it here!  Let’s see how Day 6 goes…stay tuned
