Ultimate Reset – THE JOURNEY – Day 6

Ultimate ResetDay 6 of the Ultimate Reset. I was really looking forward to Day 6. Why? Well, it wasn’t the Ultimate Reset meals schedule for day, that is for sure! I was looking forward to Day 6 because I was going to be able to sleep in a little! Let’s see how Day 6 of the Ultimate Reset went!

Ultimate Reset – THE JOURNEY – Day 6

Yes, not going into the office today. In fact, today we have a family “thing” to go to, so I got to sleep in! Now, I thought that sleeping in would make me feel a little better. But, I was wrong. I was actually more tired in the morning from sleeping in. Oh well, I still needed the rest!  Day 6 of the Ultimate Reset isn’t starting off too well.

Anyway, rolled out of bed and met the family in the kitchen. Made my tall glass of distilled water with Mineralize, Oxygenize and took the two capsules of Optimize.

I looked at the Ultimate Reset meal schedule. Saw what was on the agenda for breakfast, baked tempeh, and said to myself, “Heck no!” I opted for the Day 4 meal, a FRUIT FEST! So, I got some strawberries and watermelon out, lightly toasted a piece of Ezekiel 4:9 bread and cut up an avocado. Now THAT is a breakfast!

My wife and youngest headed out to the family event while the big kids and I stayed around the house to tidy some stuff up and run some errands. Time just flies by when you are busy! It is almost time to leave and I realized I needed my Ultimate Reset supplements again. So, another tall glass of distilled water, with Mineralize and Oxygenize, took another two capsules of Optimize.

Fixed the kids their lunch. Now what? We have to leave in 10 minutes and the Ultimate Reset meal schedule says quinoa salad and microgreen salad. Bummer, not exactly what I had in mind!  Definitely not one of my favorite meals of the Ultimate Reset plan!

So, I opted for Tropical Strawberry Shakeology with watermelon and ice. Oh my, that is DELICIOUS! I am so glad it is an Ultimate Reset option! Packed up the kids, put my shake in a tall glass, grabbed some more distilled water and an Alkalinize packet and headed out the door.

I want to RESET my body with the Ultimate Reset!

We made it to the family event and BOOM, a huge table full of goodies is calling our names. You should have seen the kids faces! I don’t think they’ve seen that much candy and cake at one table before. Definitely NOT on the Ultimate Reset meal plan!

On the menu for the family event was hot dogs, hamburgers, jerk chicken and all kinds of sides. I am glad that we had our meal before we showed up. I must say that the jerk chicken smelled REALLY good!

There was so much food, so many goodies, there were a couple of things I would have liked to try, just a little bite, BUT, I did NOT want to ruin 5 days of the Ultimate Reset that have gone smoothly.

As time passed, it was now time for Alkalinize. Mixed it up, chugged it and followed it with the rest of the distilled water I had packed. Again, not tasting good, but not as bad as it was on Day 1.

Ultimate ResetWe all had a fantastic time with the extended family and headed home. Once home, I checked the Ultimate Reset meal plan to see what was for dinner. I’m glad I did, because on the menu was Roasted Root Medley which takes about an hour to prepare and cook. I got started on that with a sweet potato (instead of a yam), yellow onion and baby carrots (instead of a larger carrot). I forgot to get a beet at the grocery store! Added some olive oil, mixed it up, put it on a cookie sheet and threw it in the oven. Once I finished that, I started on the Zuchinni Soup. I could NOT find raw cashews, so I used walnuts instead. Not a bad swap. I must admit that the soup did not look appetizing. I couldn’t find Millet either, so I swapped it out for quinoa.

Almost done cooking and I want to eat when everything is done, so I have my third glass of distilled water with Mineralize, Oyxgenize and two Optimize capsules. All the Ultimate Reset supplements done for the day.

Everything was done cooking. The kitchen smelled AWESOME! I pulled out the roasted vegetables, poured the soup into a bowl and threw some quinoa on the plate. Wow, I wasn’t sure about this Ultimate Reset meal, but it is looking better now.

Ultimate ResetFirst, I tasted the zuchinni-walnut soup. HOT, but very tasty. I am diggin’ the soup! Put that down to let it cool and went for the roasted vegetables. Sweet potato, AWESOME. Carrot, GREAT. Onion, FANTASTIC. This is now one of my FAVORITE MEALS! I can see cooking this on a weekly basis for sure. Yeah, it takes a little bit longer to put together, but it is EASY and the results are DELICIOUS!

Looking back at Day 6 of the Ultimate Reset, it didn’t start off to well but the day ROCKED! I found a new favorite recipe and look forward to having it again. I also again faced temptation and came out on top! I’m really looking forward to tomorrow, Day 7, and closing out a SUCCESSFUL WEEK OF THE ULTIMATE RESET!
