Ultimate ResetUltimate Reset Day 8, Phase 2 and I messed up! No, it isn’t what you are thinking, I didn’t cheat. Just messed up. We’ll get to it. I’ll give you a hint, it is because it is a new phase of the Ultimate Reset. Let’s find out what happened on Day 8 of the Ultimate Reset!

Ultimate Reset – THE JOURNEY – Day 8

I did get some decent sleep last night, but I was still tired this morning. I had a follow-up chiropractor appointment this morning, but I did NOT want to get out of bed. So I turned off the alarm and dozed in and out for about 30 minutes. Then I had to rush to get out the door to make the appointment on time. Typical, right? I did have enough time to start the day with the distilled water, Mineralize, Oxygenize and Optimize. (Did you notice something missing?)

Ultimate ResetWhen I got back home, I was HUNGRY! On the menu for the Ultimate Reset breakfast was FRUIT! So, I started cutting up some strawberries, went to cup up a Granny Smith and paused. You know what, just fruit is NOT going to cut it this morning. I’ve already been up too long and I’m too hungry just to eat fruit, I need some protein. What did I do?

Well, those strawberries didn’t go to waste, I just added them into a Tropical Strawberry Shakeology shake. Oh yeah, 8 ounces of distilled water, those delicious strawberries, a packet of Tropical Strawberry Shakeology and some ice. Hmmmmm, so GOOD! It hit the spot. I know I’ve said it before, but I am SO GLAD this is an Ultimate Reset option!

So, I’m a little behind schedule because of my chiropractor appointment but feeling pretty good. Time passes quickly and it is lunch time already. So, I take a peek at the Ultimate Reset menu and see Microgreen salad. Ugh, I am not looking forward to that! I made my glass of distilled water with Mineralize, Oxygenize and Optimize. 30 minutes of dreading that salad.

I just can’t do it. Ultimate Reset is killing me with all these salads! I look back at some of the past lunches, look in the fridge, look at the past lunches again. What to do, what to do. I REALLY don’t want to eat a salad. Aaaah, hummus, carrots and lentils in the fridge. BINGO! I’ve got it. A mix of Day 4 and Day 5. So, I warm up the lentil soup, add some herbs and spices, break out the carrots and dig into the hummus. I LOVE HUMMUS! The lentils needed a little more salt, another little pinch and perfect. Gobble it up! Now that is an Ultimate Reset lunch!

Time really seemed to fly by today. Time for some Alkalinize. Mixed it up. Definitely getting used to taking it. Drank some more water and I was good to go. No need for the Ultimate Rest optional snack. I also took a peek at the dinner menu. Pinto beans and rice. Oh yeah, I’m going to like this one BUT, I don’t have pinto beans!

Time to make a run for the grocery store. I need to do the shopping for the week anyway. My oldest daughter wants to go with me, so we pack up and head out. I brought the Week 2 Ultimate Reset shopping list and we make quick work of it.

After putting all the food away it is time to mess up the kitchen! But before I make a mess, I need to get the Ultimate Reset supplements down. I take everything and then my oldest daughter says, “Did you already take the brown stuff?

“Brown stuff?“, I say. “What brown stuff?

Dad, the stuff that makes you poop!

And that’s when I realized I messed up! I had forgotten to take the Detox before breakfast and lunch. Oh man! So I grab a packet of Detox and read the back. Ugh, another 8 ounces of water. I open it up and all the kids want to smell it. It doesn’t smell like much. I mix in a Shakeology shaker cup and here we go. That was ROUGH! And it’s so much. Double the liquid of Alkalinize. I guess this Ultimate Reset supplement will take getting used to.

Now, it’s finally time to start cooking. I got the brown rice going and the pinto beans. The kids want our famous chipotle chicken, so I cook up some of that for them (chicken is NOT on the Ultimate Reset menu for Week 2). The rice is done, the beans are done and the chicken is done. I quickly steamed some green beans and zucchini. CHOW TIME! That was another great Ultimate Reset meal!

So, I didn’t mess up too bad. I did however miss a couple of Detox packets on Ultimate Reset Day 8. I won’t make that mistake again. Come on Day 9!
